The Golf Trust & Project 24

24 Hours of non-stop golf for charity!

Back in June a group of Brits came to Lofoten Links in order to raise money for their charity called The Golf Trust.

The Golf Trust is a charity based out of The UK that focuses on “introducing (or reintroducing) golf to individuals with a disability.”

On June 20th, we had the honor to host The Golf Trust’s Project 24 – a challenge in which 8 golfers played 24 hours of non-stop golf in order to raise as much money as they could for this charity.

And wow, did they impress.

And not just because they played 24 hours of golf in rain and wind,

But because of the sheer joy, tenacity and heart-warming vibes they brought to Lofoten Links despite the extra challenging, wet and cold weather,

While at the same time raising over £30,000!

It as incredible to host this event and to meet the wonderful team of golfers, donors, and videographers.

Our local newspaper wrote their story, translated it and now released here for all of you to read!
