Isaac Rowlands completes the Guinness World Record Attempt!

32 hours. 182 holes. Infinite epic moments.

We are incredibly honoured to have witnessed Isaac Rowlands complete his Guinness World Record attempt here at Lofoten Links.

Under the glow of the Arctic midnight sun, PGA Assistant Pro Isaac Rowlands played continuously for over 32 hours—right here on our world-renowned links course.

His epic feat followed strict Guinness World Record guidelines, pushing physical and mental limits in one of the most dramatic golf settings on Earth.

Some of the official rules he followed:

  • Filming non-stop for the entire attempt, with a live clock attached to his golf bag for verification
  • Teeing off within 3 minutes of holing out each putt
  • Completing every round in under 4 hours, across dozens of loops
  • Walking the course with his own clubs—no carts or outside assistance
  • Playing by official R&A golf rules, adapting as the hours wore on
  • Only five minutes of rest per hour, which he strategically banked
  • Supported by witnesses and full video documentation for Guinness approval

This was more than a golf marathon. It was a record-setting journey against the elements, against fatigue, and in complete harmony with nature.
