Walk in the Footsteps of the Vikings
A walk along the QR code trail at Hov provides a deep dive into Norse history, linking the area’s name – meaning an ancient pagan place of worship and ritual – to its roots in agriculture and ancient pagan sites.
Guests will learn about the two Viking boathouses still standing today, the significance of a sacred gold ring and how these sites reflect the mix of old beliefs and new traditions.
