Breakfast

GOLF SEASON (MAY-OCTOBER): BREAKFAST BUFFET IS SERVED FROM 07:00-10:00.  YOU WILL HAVE PRE-BOOKED THIS VIA YOUR BOOKING. IF YOU HAVE NOT PRE-BOOKED BREAKFAST AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE BREAKFAST, PLEASE CONTACT EITHER RECEPTION OR LÅVEN DIRECTLY AT LEAST 12 HOURS PRIOR TO THE DATE YOU WOULD LIKE BREAKFAST.

NORTHERN LIGHTS SEASON (NOVEMBER-APRIL): BREAKFAST BUFFET MUST BE PRE-BOOKED VIA INFO@LOFOTENLINKS.NO or directly on their website here.

The breakfast buffet is typical Norwegian style, serving a variety of cold meats, cheese, bread, yoghurt, muesli, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit and veggies.  Coffee, tea, juice and water included.

Check-out

We kindly ask you to check out before 11:00. If you would like a late check-out, please contact us as early as possible or the night before.  If not, you will be charged a late check-out fee.

Internet Access

We provide Wifi free of charge.  You will find the password in the kitchen. There is also open Wifi in the clubhouse and at Restaurant Låven.

Dining

You have a few options for dining. Restaurant Låven is located down the way from the Lodges and serves delicious local food in a rustic barn. The Clubhouse serves waffles and baguettes, along with snacks and beverages. About 5 kilometers down the street is a local grocery store, open 24 hours a day, where you can buy items to cook yourself in your lodge or have a picnic.  We also recommend exploring various restaurants on the archipelago.  Contact us for recommendations and more information.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in the Lodges! Smoke detectors are installed in all rooms. Thank you! Again, we reserve the right to charge you a fine up to 2000 NOK.

Valuables

We are not liable for damaged or stolen valuables in the Lodges.

Housekeeping

If you are staying with us for an extended period of time, we will send cleaners to remove trash, fill toilet paper and change towels. If you need additional items or want additional cleaning, please contact us at reception.

Washing Machine

The washing machine is located in the kitchen next to the refrigerator inside a cabinet.

Fireplace

It is very cozy to make a fire in the fireplace, especially while watching the northern lights through the wide windows in the living room. We provide one basket of wood for you to use.  If you would like more wood, you can purchase more from reception.

To light the fire, start with placing small pieces of wood and/or paper in the fireplace.  Light a fire starter and use it to light the small pieces of wood and paper (make sure there is enough air supply). Once the fire is lit and going, you can add the bigger pieces of wood. Don’t forget to close the door of the fireplace. When the fire is burnt out, let the ashes cool down. NEVER put hot ashes in to the waste bins.
